“Manchester United” legend Wayne Rooney commented on recent rumors surrounding his move to China, but stated that he will remain in the ranks of the “Red Devils”.
The 31-year-old most prolific player of “Man Utd” club this season has lost the role of the main player, so rumors started spreading in the press that the Englishman will accept a lucrative offer from China by the end of February.
However, W. Rooney does not intend to part ways with “Man Utd” so quickly and it is written on the club's official website:
“Despite the interest of some clubs, for which I am grateful, I want to end the speculations about my career by saying that I remain in the “Man Utd” club.
I hope to contribute as successfully as possible to achieving success in every tournament we are still competing in. I am satisfied with everything that has happened so far and I want to continue to be part of it.”
This season, W. Rooney played 29 games in the Manchester eleven, scored five goals, and made 10 assists.
