W. Rooney does not see "Man City" as one of the best teams in history

“Manchester City“ team started the season at a hurricane pace. After crushing „Tottenham“ team 4:1, „Man City“ has already won 17 victories in 18 matches in the „Premier“ league.

Even before the halfway point of the season, „Man City“ players are already being called the champions of the „Premier“ league.

However, former „Manchester United“ striker and current „Everton“ player Wayne Rooney doesn't believe that the „Man City“ team can be labeled as one of the best already.

„I don't think they are at that stage yet. They will have to do much more for that. There have been many amazing teams in the „Premier“ league over the years. „Man City“ will have to win titles and play like that for a longer period of time to be considered among the best,“ the player said.

When asked which team can be called the greatest of all time, W. Rooney didn't hesitate and replied: „The „Man United“ team from 2008,“ the player emphasized.

The Englishman also doesn't believe that „Man City“ can finish the „Premier“ league season undefeated.

„I don't think they can go unbeaten. They will have to play incredibly well, and in the „Premier“ league, doing that for a long time is very difficult. Especially during this Christmas period.

„I know they have a good and big team. But there are many top-level teams here. Before, there were two teams and you knew that against the other teams, you would win many matches. But now there are five or six teams that can beat anyone, and I'm sure that in some of those matches, „Man City“ will be defeated,“ Rooney spoke.
