"The Sun" published a photo of the former English national team footballer, where he is seen with an unknown woman outside a hotel. It was claimed that W. Rooney entered the hotel with the woman and possibly was unfaithful to his wife. The footballer himself decided to comment on this situation on his "Twitter" account, stating that the woman was just a fan asking for an autograph, and he did not go to the hotel with her. "This week 'The Sun' published a story about me on their front page, which makes it look like I took an unknown woman to the team hotel," wrote W. Rooney. "They know that's not true. I did not do that. 'The Sun' is using my and my family's fame to sell their newspapers. That night, nothing happened between me and the unknown woman. I did not take her to the team hotel. The woman who was captured next to me was just a fan asking for an autograph and taking a photo together," Rooney did not hide his dissatisfaction.
