W. Rooney won't coach anymore? His possible workplace becomes clear © AP

Wayne Rooney is rightly called one of the greatest players in England's history. The forward, who shone on the football fields, has etched his name in golden letters into the football annals of his homeland.

However, after finishing his professional career, the sharpshooter unsuccessfully attempted to "jump" into other roles.

Recently, the coach who was dismissed from the "Plymouth" club, playing in the Championship, now finds himself at a crossroads in decision-making.

As reported by the English media, the 39-year-old celebrity is likely to return to television, where he previously worked as an expert and was not afraid to boldly express his opinions.

W. Rooney's coaching statistics do not guarantee him a good job and likely signify a turned page in his career.

In 178 matches, the Englishman managed to achieve only 45 victories (25.4 percent). Another 46 matches ended in draws, while 87 encounters resulted in defeats for his team.
