W. Samuelis: "I Live a Nightmare in Madrid" © EuroFootball.com

Argentinian national team and Real Madrid defender Walter Samuel stated that while playing in Madrid he feels like he’s dreaming a nightmare.

The 26-year-old Argentine moved to "Real" last summer from AS club for 25 million euros and it was expected that he would help strengthen the struggling defense of the Madrid team, but the player failed to adapt to the new team and now rumors are increasingly circulating that when the winter transfer window opens, the defender will return to Italy.

Turin and Milan have already expressed their desire to acquire Samuel, and considering that the player also wants to return to Serie A, it is very likely that "Real" will sell this defender in January.

The player himself describes the current situation in Madrid as a nightmare, and what is happening in the Real team can be summed up in one word - catastrophe.

"Playing for Real was an old dream of mine and I was very happy when I joined this team, but here I am experiencing a real nightmare," Samuel told the newspaper "Corriere dello Sport."

"I must admit that in Madrid I do not show the kind of game that was expected of me. Not only that, I receive a lot of criticism from the team's supporters, something I have never experienced while playing for Roma or Boca Juniors."
