"Barcelona" found a goalkeeper who should replace the injured Marc-André ter Stegen.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed the information from Polish media – the Catalan club will be joined by Wojciech Szczesny.
This summer, the 34-year-old Polish player announced his retirement. After failing to find a suitable option to continue his career, the goalkeeper decided not to drag it out any longer.
However, "Barcelona's" offer intrigued him and his family, so a one-year contract proposal was accepted.
"Barca" was also interested in Keylor Navas and Loris Karius. Both were free agents.
