Wanting to reach the top of the Champions League, C. Ronaldo says, "We have improved under Sarri"

Cristiano Ronaldo shared his thoughts on Juventus and coach Maurizio Sarri before the third round of UEFA Champions League group stage matches.

In the summer, M. Sarri took over the Juventus team and had a rather difficult start to the season. However, the team is now getting on track and C. Ronaldo himself is satisfied with the results.

"Sarri's changes have allowed us to improve," - said the Portuguese in a press conference. "We have changed as a team and have more freedom, but there are still areas where we need to improve."

"We did a good job under Allegri, but under Sarri we have improved even more. My position has also changed - I always try to be where I feel best. I like to have freedom in my game.

"We must fight and rediscover ourselves, in order to win the national league again and conquer the UEFA Champions League," continued C. Ronaldo.

This Monday, "France Football" will announce the candidates to win the "Ballon d'Or" award. As the Portuguese said, he is not focused on these awards.

"The team's results are more important to me. I am focused only on tomorrow's match. I really don't care if I win these trophies. If I do win individual awards, it will be done by achieving good results with the team," added C. Ronaldo.

Juventus will face Moscow's Lokomotiv on Tuesday evening.
