Watching the World Cup on TV ended in death for three viewers

Chinese doctors are ringing the alarm bells - over the past few days they have already recorded several football fans' deaths, the cause of which is excessive night watching of World Cup matches on TV screens. It is claimed that 3 sports enthusiasts died from lack of sleep and, most likely, heart failure.

The latest football fan's death was recorded in the eastern Chinese city of Suzhou. According to the Chinese media, a 25-year-old football fan was found dead in front of the television. Doctors claim that this happened because the man watched football matches from Brazil for two nights in a row, going to work in the morning without sleep.

Now the Chinese Ministry of Health is issuing warnings, asking fans to take care of their health and devote more time to sleep. Due to the time difference, football matches are shown in China from midnight until morning. Some football enthusiasts go straight to work from the television screens, rooting for one team or another.

On the other hand, the Chinese press notes that more clever fans and businessmen have found a way to combine football with nighttime watching of matches.

It is claimed that recently it is possible to order "original" doctor's sick leave certificates online - Chinese fans watching night football matches try to take advantage of this. The price of one certificate is about 15 US dollars and a sports enthusiast can be exempt from work for three days.
