"Watford" fairytale continues - "Tottenham" defeated, "Man Utd" bounces back in Burnley

On Sunday evening, the last two matches of the 4th round of the English Premier League took place.

The club "Watford", performing well this season, faced London's "Tottenham" at home. "The Hornets" continued their success story this season - they defeated the unbeaten "Spurs" and remain in the top three.

"Tottenham" had crushed "Manchester United" in the previous round, but they knew that they wouldn't have an easy time here - "Watford" so far has not lost a single point in the Premier League.

In the first half, no goals were scored, but the real excitement began in the second half of the match.

In the 53rd minute, the home fans were the first to be disappointed - after a cross from Lucas Moura, defender Abdoulaye Doucoure redirected the ball into his own net.

However, the equalizer from the opponents did not discourage the "Watford" team - in the 69th minute, the score was leveled when "The Hornets" captain Troy Deeney scored with a header after a well-taken penalty kick by Jose Holebas.

After the equalizing goal, "Watford" gained momentum and dominated in the opponents' half. In the 76th minute, "Watford" fans received another gift from their team - after a corner kick, Craig Cathcart headed in another goal.

In the remaining time, "Tottenham" had several dangerous opportunities, but "The Hornets" held on and extended their crucial win. "Watford" now has 12 points and is tied with "Liverpool" and "Chelsea".

In other matches, "Manchester United" bounced back from their setbacks. Jose Mourinho's team defeated the struggling "Burnley" 2-0.

Both goals for the winners were scored by Romelu Lukaku. In the 69th minute, Paul Pogba missed a penalty kick, and two minutes later Marcus Rashford was sent off from the field.
