One of the most controversial football players in Italian history, Mario Balotelli, has received a second chance.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that M. Balotelli will sign a contract with the "Genoa" club until the end of this season.

The forward was attracted to the Genoa club by the team's coach, Alberto Gilardino. They have played together in the Italian national team.

Balotelli's last club was Turkey's "Adana Demirspor," where he scored 7 goals in one season.
