On Saturday, the penultimate 2018 World Cup qualifying matches were played in the Old Continent.

Meanwhile, the Swedish national team crushed Luxembourg 8-0, and the Dutch defeated Belarus. The Netherlands are 3 points behind the second-placed Swedes and still have a chance to fight for the second position, which would keep their hopes alive for a summer trip to Russia.
In Group B, the Portuguese national team defeated Andorra as the matches approached the end, while the Swiss beat Hungary. Switzerland is still in the first position and the winner of the first place will be decided in the final round - Portugal and Switzerland will face each other, with the Swiss needing only to avoid losing in this match.
In Group H, Belgium secured their ticket after a competitive battle against Bosnia and Herzegovina, Estonia bombed Gibraltar, and the Greeks defeated Cyprus.
