The England national team started their campaign in the World Cup qualifying Group K with a victory.

Players trained by Thomas Tuchel defeated Albania 2-0 in front of their home crowd.

Among the winners, M. Lewis-Skelly scored in the 20th minute, and H. Kane added another goal in the 70th minute.

In other group matches, Latvia, after D. Sits' goal in the 58th minute, defeated Andorra 1-0 away.
