Arsene Wenger urges London's Arsenal fans to respectfully greet former team striker Robin van Persie.
The footballer, who moved from London to Man Utd for 30 million euros in the summer, will play against his former team on Saturday at Old Trafford.
"I hope the reception will be respectful, because he did a lot of good during his eight years at Arsenal," said manager Wenger. "I am not surprised by his success in Manchester. He is surrounded by many great players, and Robin himself is very intelligent and technical."
He added: "Van Persie is one of the most efficient strikers."
In 11 matches with Man Utd, the Dutchman has scored nine goals.
