Strategist Arsene Wenger after the victory in the London derby did not spare praise for Robin van Persie.
In the match that ended with a score of 5-3, the Dutch national team striker scored three goals, and in the last 27 matches of the English championship, he has scored 28 times.
"Robin is currently 'on fire'," the Frenchman said. "He takes advantage of representing a team that wants to attack a lot and create chances. Van Persie's movement and intelligence are unbelievable."
And he continued: "We needed a victory, so we fought for it. The team played well and showed character because it's not easy to come back after losing the first half 1-2.
However, after the break, we played with passion and defended much better. I hope this will inspire confidence for the future, and we will become even stronger."
