On Sunday, two unexpected results were recorded in the 31st round of the German Bundesliga championship. Brēmen's "Werder" lost 2-3 to Bielefeld's "Arminia" team as guests, while "Bayer" had to admit the superiority of the "Cottbus" team with a score of 1-2.

All eyes were on the match taking place in Bielefeld, where the local "Arminia" fought against Brēmen's "Werder" club, which currently holds the 3rd place in the championship. The first goal was scored in the 29th minute of the match by the home team. Heiko Westermann then scored with a header after a great penalty kick by Jörg Böhme.

In the second half, after 15 minutes of playing, the "Werder" team managed to equalize the score when Miroslav Klose headed in a corner kick taken by Aaron Hunt, but the ball was clumsily cleared from the goal line by J.Bohme and the same M.Klose "tucked" the ball into the net.

Two minutes later, the home team restored the balance in their favor. Jonas Kamper, breaking through on the right side from about 16 meters, sent the ball into the far lower corner of the goal. In the 74th minute, the visitors once again equalized the score. After a pass from M.Klose, the ball was headed in from a sharp angle by Hugo Almeida, who had come on as a substitute.

Nevertheless, luck smiled on the "Arminia" players in this match. With ten minutes left to play, Andreas Reinke, the goalkeeper of "Werder", and defender Naldo collided after a pass from Ioannis Masmanidis, and "Arminia" player Christian Eigler took advantage of this misunderstanding, scoring a very important goal for his team with a precise shot.

In the other match, "Cottbus" clashed with Leverkusen's "Bayer". The goal was scored in the 7th minute, when the home team's forward Sergiu Radu scored his 13th goal of the championship, putting "Cottbus" ahead. "Bayer" managed to equalize just before the end of the first half, with Stefan Kiessling scoring after a pass from Tranquillo Barnetta.

It seemed like the match would end in a draw, but in the 85th minute, "Bayer" defender Karim Haggui scored an own goal, giving "Cottbus" another victory.
