The leaders of the German Bundesliga in Bremen club - changes. The Germans transferred forward Mohammed Zidane to "Mainz", and acquired compatriot midfielder Peter Niemeyer from the Dutch club "Twente".
The latter has previously played in the German under-21 national team and represented the "Twente" team for the last 3.5 years. Peter Niemeyer signed a contract with the Bremen club until 2011. This footballer received compliments from the new team's sports director Klaus Allofs, who called him "very lively and having everything he needs".
Meanwhile, Egyptian Mohamed Zidane is moving to the underdog club "Mainz" for the second time. He played there last year when he was on loan. During that time, he scored 9 goals in 26 matches and helped "Mainz" stay in the Bundesliga.
This year, the 25-year-old forward did not fit in with the "Werder" team - he only appeared in 5 matches in the German championship and scored 1 goal.
