"West Bromwich" could end up in the hands of Chinese businessmen.

In the British newspaper "Sunday People," news appeared that "West Bromwich Albion," playing in the Premier League, could be sold to investors from China.

The current club owner Jeremy Peace has been looking for a buyer for two years, and now it seems that he has found people with whom an agreement can be reached.

The value of the deal should be around 150 million pounds sterling. For comparison, the wealth of Wang Jianlin, who leads a group of Chinese businessmen, is estimated at 21.7 billion.

The 61-year-old investor also owns 20 percent of the shares of Madrid's "Atletico."

"West Brom" finished fourteenth in the English championship last season.
