The club acquired two new players. Attacker Nwankwo Kanu and midfielder Zoltan Gera will join the team. The former will arrive as a free agent, while Z. Gera will cost the English club 1.5 million pounds.
Kanu, who will turn 28 in two days, spent last season at the club. When the season ended, the English champions decided not to offer a new contract to the striker. He signed a three-year contract with the "W.B.A" club.
Attacking midfielder Z. Gera also signed a three-year contract with the possibility of extending it for another year. Last season he played for the "Ferencvaros" club.
A few days ago, the English club acquired another midfielder Jonathan Greening for 1.25 million pounds. In total, seven players have been added to the club before this season.
