"West Ham" chairman: "Leicester" got lucky

London's "West Ham" chairman David Sullivan believes that luck played a significant role in Leicester City's victory in the English championship.

The Foxes secured the title on Monday when London's "Tottenham" drew with "Chelsea."

Interestingly, Claudio Ranieri's pupils' chances of triumphing in the Premier League before the season were rated at 5000 to 1.

"I know how they did it," Sullivan told Sky Sports. "They won 11 penalties, luck was on their side. They practically had no injuries. They relied on only 18 players throughout the season."

"They had two football players who performed above their abilities and scored more goals than they had previously scored in their entire lives."

"They also acquired a fantastic goalkeeper. One of their important purchases paid off, so that's how they did it. I don't see that they are much better than us."
