According to one of the owners and chairman of the board of London's West Ham, David Sullivan, the club can afford to say goodbye to a £50 million sterling sum this summer.
A great season has raised the club's ambitions to a new level and fans have already bought all next season's season tickets at the London Olympic Stadium. This year the "Hammers" will finish between ninth and tenth place in the Premier League.
The capital club wants to acquire a new forward. According to various reports, they are looking at a group of capable snipers, including Christian Benteke, Alexandre Lacazette, and Michy Batshuayi.
"We hope to acquire one or two high-level footballers," Sullivan told Sky Sports. "Today we made a €30 million offer for a forward in France, and other offers will be made in the near future."
"This week we will offer between £20 and £25 million for a player in England. So, whatever happens, we will add a sniper to our team."
"I reveal our plans to you. This summer we will spend between £30 and £50 million."
Sullivan also revealed that the move to a new stadium brought West Ham an additional £12 million sterling per year.
