"West Ham" fails to defeat "Leicester" team at home (VIDEO)

On Friday evening, the first 13th round matches of the English Premier League were played.

Attempting to climb out of the pit, West Ham struggled with Leicester City at home. In a very competitive match, neither team could secure three points - the match ended in a 1-1 draw.

Both teams exchanged goals in the first 45 minutes. In the 8th minute, visitors from Leicester unexpectedly took the lead - Jamie Vardy broke free from defenders and made a sharp pass into the penalty area, where Marc Albrighton, the first to rush to the ball, saddened the host's fans with a precise shot.

However, after conceding a goal, the Hammers tried to equalize and put pressure on the opponents. They only managed to break through their goal in the very end of the half - Cheikhou Kouyate scored with a header after a corner kick.

In the second half, West Ham players played much more aggressively. There was a lot of struggle and fouls in the penalty area, as players from both teams were injured.

Leicester successfully defended for the remaining match time and took an important point from London.

David Moyes still remains without a win in the West Ham team, who remain in the relegation zone. Leicester can be happy with their 11th position for now.
