The head coach of the "West Ham" team, Slaven Bilic, revealed that Dimitri Payet is recovering faster than expected and could possibly return to the field at the beginning of January.
The 28-year-old footballer suffered an injury last month in a match against Liverpool's "Everton". After the injury, it was initially believed that the Frenchman would be sidelined for three months, but the prognosis did not hold true.
"It's great news that Dimitri is recovering faster than expected," said S. Bilic. "He is already working with fitness trainers and may be ready for the match against Liverpool."
The match against Liverpool's team will take place on January 2nd.
