Once again, the English have proved that the money earned from the sale of broadcasting rights allows them to buy any player in continental Europe.
According to the data from the German portal transfermarkt.de, more than 30 million euros were paid for a total of 27 players.
Frenchman Paul Pogba, who moved from Juventus to Manchester United for 105 million euros, became the most expensive player sold in the world, while the second most expensive summer purchase was Argentine Gonzalo Higuain, for whom Juventus paid Napoli 90 million euros.
