Bundesliga teams are often praised for their financial discipline and reluctance to buy million-dollar newcomers. It has been calculated that over the past decade, the "Hoffenheim" team worked best, earning a whopping 108 million euros when considering acquired and sold players. In second place (86 million euros) is the famous Dortmund "Borussia," which may further improve its performance next summer if they sell forward Erling Haaland. In total, half of the Bundesliga clubs operated profitably - the other nine experienced significant expenses. Not very honorable at the top of the list is the Munich "Bayern" team, which suffered 363 million euros in losses.
