During the summer of 2008, striker Amauri, who arrived at Turin's team for 22 million euros, does not rule out the possibility of returning to his former club.
"Return to ? Never say never. Football is unpredictable. Zamparini has known me since childhood. I was pleased by his words that he still wants to see me in his team.
"A lesser contract? I repeat, never say never.
Of course, it's not that simple, but I would honestly respond to such an offer and I think you all probably know the answer. I left a part of myself in Palermo. I love this city and the fans," Amauri revealed.
Meanwhile, Palermo's president Maurizio Zamparini did not deny that he wants to bring the Brazilian back to his club.
"Amauri? I would bring him back tomorrow if I could. He would need to agree to a lower salary and come to the team with the same enthusiasm he had when he left," Zamparini said.
