Recently, it seems that every young Spanish player representing Madrid's "Real" team is linked with a move to the "Arsenal" team.
Just as rumors were circulating that the "Gunners" would try to acquire Jese Rodriguez, now the Spanish website Fichajes reports that the next target for Arsene Wenger is Isco.
According to this website, "Arsenal" will make a £22 million offer for the player who scored six goals last season.
The only possible scenario in which Isco would leave the "Real" team is a decrease in playing time in the Madrid team. However, considering that recently the Spaniard has been a solid starting eleven player, such a scenario is unlikely.
The Spanish national team member has long been linked with a move to play at the Emirates Stadium, but rumors always remained rumors, so to hope that this time everything will be different may be too optimistic for Arsenal fans.
Telegraph.co.uk reports that if the acquisition of Isco fails, there is a chance that the team will manage to attract Jese. According to the Spanish press, Arsene Wenger would like to loan the player in January, with the possibility of buying out his contract after the season.
After impressing in the team in 2013, it was expected that Jese would become another superstar for "Real," but a cruciate ligament injury halted the player's progress and took him out of the lineup for months. Now, the recovered forward is only a backup option in Real Madrid's attack and played only three matches this year.
Although it is unclear how much "Arsenal" would have to pay for Jese, it is expected that the Madrid team will not let go of their player for less than a £20 million sum.
However, Wenger himself may reject the idea of acquiring these players, especially since after the new year, Danny Welbeck should return to the team after an injury. Adding another striker to the team, the coach may have enough with the current players to shape the team's attacking lines.
