Argentinian national team's young striker Carlos Tevez, according to his agent, is moving towards a transfer to an undisclosed English Premier League club. This week, the South American missed training with a Brazilian club because he had a confrontation with the team's head coach Emerson Leao.

E.Leao, who took over the reins of the Corinthians club last weekend and stripped C.Tevez of the captain's armband, publicly stated that he does not want to see any Argentinians in his team, who play for the Corinthians team.

This statement from the coach made the young striker decide that he no longer wants to play for this club, and now the player has returned home to Buenos Aires. C.Tevez's agent, Adrian Rucco, said on Friday: "Carlos is very close to a move to an English club."

English giants Man Utd were previously interested in the services of the 22-year-old player and are now considering a new striker acquisition, as this summer the team lost the "goal-scoring machine" famous Dutchman Ruud van Nistelrooy, who moved to Real Madrid.

In December 2004, C.Tevez left Boca Juniors in Buenos Aires for a record-breaking sum of $18 million (about 37 million litas) and moved to Corinthians and later to Man Utd. In order to see the young Argentine in their team, Man Utd will have to compete against teams like Bayern Munich, Chelsea, and Milan.
