As officially stated by Samaros club coach Gadži Gadžijevas on the club's website, Lithuanian player "did not want to extend his contract with Samaros club and left for Hearts in Edinburgh."
The coach expressed regret about the defender's decision and stated that the Lithuanian national team player would have been very helpful to the Samara team.
However, neither the official website nor the British media mention N.Baras's arrival in Edinburgh.
It is possible that the 27-year-old N.Barasa, like several players who have previously joined Hearts, is unofficially participating in the club's training sessions in the Scottish capital and, if he satisfies the club's technical staff, will soon sign a contract with the club owned by Lithuanian businessman Vladimir Romanov.
Hearts currently have three Lithuanian national team players: forward Edgaras Jankauskas and defenders Saulius Mikoliūnas and Deividas Česnauskis. Marius Kižys also played in Edinburgh last season, but he left Hearts in the summer.
