Will R.Mancini replace D.Deschamps in the "Inter" team? © EuroFootball.com

The Milan club, which will most likely be left by the head coach Roberto Mancini this summer, has started looking for a new strategist. It is reported that the leaders of the team, currently in third place in the Italian championship, have already contacted former coach Didier Deschamps.

The Frenchman is currently working as a football commentator for a French television channel and does not seem to have received any other offers.

This is not the first time D. Deschamps has been linked to one of the Italian clubs. Several seasons ago, the Frenchman competed for the coaching position in Turin, but at the last moment he was replaced by the Italian Fabio Capello.

Former French national team midfielder D. Deschamps started his coaching career in 2001 and as a young talented strategist, in his second season with the "Monaco" team with a not very big budget, managed to achieve second place in the French championship and later twice reach third place. Also in 2004, he led the team to a surprising appearance in the Champions League final, where "Monaco" had to admit the superiority of the "Porto" team.

However, in September 2005, D. Deschamps left the team of his homeland, which had started the season poorly, stating that the team, which had not acquired capable players during the transfer window, did not have the prospects to compete for top positions.
