Maarten Stekelenburg is the main candidate to become the main goalkeeper from next season, announces "The Mirror".
The Dutchman representing Amsterdam's "Ajax" club would replace his compatriot Edwin van der Sar, who will end his career after the season.
According to the report, 28-year-old Stekelenburg is the first on the list of both coach Sir Alex Ferguson and goalkeeper coach Eric Steele.
