And so, Turin's "Juventus", having arguably the best defense line in the world, promises to reinforce their squad in the summer with one of the best Brazilian national team center-backs, Thiago Silva.
According to "Tuttosport", 32-year-old T. Silva has not renewed his contract with Paris Saint-Germain and will become a free agent in the summer. Both the media and representatives of the "Juventus" club itself claim that the new Brazilian could indeed become a part of the "Old Lady".
"Juventus" General Director Giuseppe Marotta claims that T. Silva could be another example of Andrea Pirlo, when the legendary Italian left "Milan" in 2011 for free and came to Turin to dominate opponents for many years with his game.
"Thiago Silva is an exceptional player, but I don't know what PSG plans to do with his future," said G. Marotta. "This could be a great opportunity for us to acquire him for free, just like with Pirlo. Such a player would bring us benefits not only on the field but also financially."
T. Silva, who cost PSG about 40 million euros, has already played 169 matches for the Parisian team.
