This weekend, eight matches of the 36th round will be played in the "La Liga" championship, four of which will be played on Saturday, with all three teams leading the championship running onto the field. The first to test their strength will be Real Madrid, who will face Real Sociedad. In this match, Real will try to defeat their opponents without two of their offensive leaders - Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema. The players who have scored 54 goals together in the league will miss the game due to injuries, so Real will have to find new weapons in attack. Last weekend in Spain, they succeeded - Gareth Bale scored twice, Lucas Vazquez added another goal, helping the team win an important victory. In order to maintain their position in the title race, the Madrid players will have to extend their winning streak in the "La Liga" championship to ten. The only team playing at home out of the three leading teams is Atletico, despite their opponents being in 16th place, they cannot be underestimated. This was best demonstrated in the recent match against Rayo Vallecano before Real Madrid, where they were already leading 2-0 in the 15th minute. However, they failed to maintain the lead and the match ended 2-3, but once again confirmed that they can also be very dangerous. Having won the last three matches 1-0, Atletico will not change their tactics, and in this match they will try to build on a good defense. The Madrid players may also be disturbed by the fact that they played difficult Champions League matches against Bayern on Wednesday, and next Tuesday they will face the second leg of the semifinals. Barcelona, who will step onto the field last, will seek to keep everything in their hands in the match against Real Betis. They should be particularly encouraged by the results of the last two matches - not only did Barca win two convincing victories, but they also crushed their opponents with an incredible 14-0 goal ratio. Luis Suarez was simply fantastic in these matches, scoring eight goals and providing three assists. Maintaining good form will be necessary for him and the entire Catalan team until the end of the season - every point lost could cost them the chance to defend last year's championship title.
