Willian mentions once again about the desire to extend the contract with "Chelsea"

Since 2013, Brazilian forward Willian, who plays for London's "Chelsea" club, recently surpassed the 300 games played mark for the "aristocrats".

The 31-year-old Brazilian's contract with the London team will expire after this season, but Willian has mentioned several times his desire to extend his contract. Now, in an interview with the club's official website, he stated that he hopes to play at least another 300 games for "Chelsea".

"I always believed that I could play so many games in this club. It's not easy to do that, especially playing in such a huge club like "Chelsea", because here you have to compete with many great footballers for a spot in the lineup.

In football, you have to prove your worth every day and in every game. When you stop doing that, then it's time to end your career.

I've been in the "Chelsea" squad for seven years. I've worked with different coaches, different players, and I've always proven that I'm ready to play.

I am proud that I have managed to play so many games here and I hope to play at least another 300," Willian said.

This season, the Brazilian played 9 matches for "Chelsea", scoring 2 goals and providing 1 assist.
