Portugal's team leader Cristiano Ronaldo continues to pose a significant threat to opposing goals.
After yesterday's UEFA Nations League match, in which the sniper scored two goals and the hosts decisively defeated Poland 5-1, it was calculated that the veteran also set a new world record.
The 39-year-old player has become the all-time leader in matches won with a national team.
Currently, C. Ronaldo has 132 victories to his name, while Spanish player Sergio Ramos has fallen to second place with 131 wins.
The veteran also holds records for the most matches played (217) and the most goals scored (136) in international football.
