Nicklas Bendtner will have to look for a new team - "Wolfsburg" informed the player that he may no longer attend the first team's training sessions.
Former "Arsenal" player arrived at "Wolfsburg" in 2014, but did not become a regular starter. In addition, the striker has received several disciplinary penalties, including monetary fines for being late to training. Recently, Bendtner angered the team management when he posted a photo with a "Mercedes" car, while "Wolfsburg" is sponsored by the "Volkswagen" group.
Speaking about the Dane, the sports director of the German team Klaus Allofs revealed that Bendtner had been training alone for some time.
"The current situation does not satisfy either the club or the player, and we cannot allow it to be a permanent situation. Therefore, on Wednesday, we met with his agent, discussed the situation, and tried to find solutions. We decided that he can now skip training sessions. Training alone was not what we wanted to continue," Allofs said.
The 28-year-old footballer played in 19 matches and scored four goals for "Wolfsburg" this season.
