“Arsenal” took advantage of “Manchester City” stumbling and managed to increase their lead at the top of the “Premier” league standings.

After a 2-0 victory away against “Wolves,” Mikel Arteta's players now have a 5-point advantage over the “citizens.”

The victory was determined by Martin Odegaard's “double.” The Norwegian scored his first goal in the 54th minute after a pass from Fabio Vieira.

By the way, F. Vieira stepped onto the pitch in the 16th minute when Granit Xhaka was forced off. The Swiss midfielder looked as if he was unwell on the pitch.

In the 75th minute, another goal by M. Odegaard sealed the victory for the “Arsenal” team.

“Arsenal” will be at the top of the league table until the second day of Christmas when the “Premier” league season resumes.

The match was watched from the stands by the future “Wolverhampton” coach, Julen Lopetegui.
