The last 16th round matches of the English Premier League have been played.
Newcastle hosted the Wolves team. The Wolves, having a numerical advantage in the second half, scored a last-minute victory with a 2:1 result.
In the 17th minute, the visitors were led forward by Portuguese Diogo Jota, but just five minutes later Ayoze Perez restored the equality in the match with a precise strike.
In the second half, "Sharks" had to pull their hair out - in the 57th minute they were left playing with ten men when DeAndre Yedlin saw a red card.
The Wolves pressed their opponents for the remainder of the match and only in the last minute of added time extended their victory. The visitors were sent into euphoria by Matt Doherty.
The Wolves climbed to 10th position, while Newcastle remains in 15th place.
