The Swedish women's team secured the second consecutive World Cup bronze medals and became tournament prize winners for the fifth time in total.

In the battle for the bronze medal, the Swedes defeated the tournament hosts, Australia, with a score of 2:0.

In the 30th minute, Fridolina Rolfo put Sweden ahead. In the second half, Kosovare Asllani doubled the score.

Tomorrow, Spain and England will compete in the final.
