On Wednesday, Spain and Japan became the first teams to secure their spots in the knockout stage. In group D, Spain defeated Zambia 5-0, while Japan beat Costa Rica 2-0.
The leaders of group D will fight for the top spot on Monday.
Meanwhile, Australia unexpectedly lost 2-3 to the Nigerian team. After two rounds, the defending champions in group B are behind Canada and Nigeria.
The tournament favorites, the US women's team, drew 1-1 with the Dutch women last night.
