On Tuesday, the first round of EURO 2020 group stage matches ended. In the second match of Group F, the French achieved a minimal victory by beating the Germans 1-0. The match started with both teams cautious, and the only goal came in the 20th minute when Germany's defender Mats Hummels scored an own goal. After conceding, the Germans took control of the game, but the first half ended with a scoreline of 0-1. At the start of the second half, both teams had good chances, but neither Adrien Rabiot nor Serge Gnabry managed to score.
