In the 36th minute, Cristiano Ronaldo mocked the Spanish defenders and deceived them by sending the ball into the goal, but shortly after he gritted his teeth in anger, as Nani touched the ball with his head before crossing the line, and the referee flagged offside.
However, just 45 minutes after the same C. Ronaldo strike, which was saved by goalkeeper Iker Casillas, Carlos Martins put the Portuguese ahead in a comfortable situation.
At the beginning of the second half, Helder Postiga doubled the advantage with a heel kick after a quick attack, and in the 68th minute he started crushing the opponents - the forward defeated Casillas from 11 meters.
But that was not the end - in the 90th minute, Hugo Almeida scored the fourth goal.
It is worth noting that at the end of the European Championship qualifying tournament, the Lithuanian footballers will face Spain.
