In friendly matches, the German national team will compete against strong opponents. On March 26th next year, Joachim Low's team will host the English national team in Berlin. Three days later, the world champions will meet the Italian team in Munich. The last time the German teams played against these teams was in 2013 - the English were beaten 1:0, and the match against the Italians ended in a tie 1:1. "Everyone is looking forward to such matches. It is important that we play against big and strong football countries," said Low's assistant Oliver Bierhoff.
