Today, on Thursday, it was decided that the team's striker Wayne Rooney will be sentenced for failing to provide documents to the police.
On May 6th, the 18-year-old striker was stopped by Liverpool police officers while driving a BMW X5.
He was asked to provide his driving license and car insurance documents, but Rooney did not have these documents. Until this Monday of this week, he was asked to attend Liverpool Magistrates' Court, but the young man did not pay attention to it and was found guilty.
The sentence will be determined in the same court on October 4th. Meanwhile, Rooney's agent refused to comment on this incident.
