After ending his career last year, 36-year-old Spanish football legend Xabi Alonso will soon take his first steps as a coach.
"Marca" reports that X. Alonso has agreed with the Madrid "Real" club, where he played for five years. It is said that the Spaniard will take over one of the youth teams.
It is speculated that it will be the 19-year-old "Real" players, who are currently led by another club legend Guti. However, Guti, who is highly respected, has already said that he will try to move up to a higher level.
X. Alonso left a notable mark on the "Real" club - he played the most matches there out of all his former teams (236). The defender has also worn the jerseys of "Real Sociedad", "Liverpool", and "Bayern".
