After spending last season on loan at RB Leipzig, Xavi Simons will have to decide about his future this week.

As reported by journalist Fabrizio Romano, there is a high likelihood that the Dutchman will stay with this team for the remainder of the season.

Munich's Bayern also wanted to have X. Simons on their team, but currently, the Bavarians are trying to acquire Desire Doue from the Rennes team.

The desire to keep the Dutch player was also publicly announced by RB Leipzig's manager Oliver Mintzlaff.

The 21-year-old attacking midfielder has been a part of PSG since 2021, but for the past couple of seasons, he has been loaned out to PSV Eindhoven and RB Leipzig.

Last season, X. Simons scored 10 goals in 43 matches.
