Former "Barcelona" defender Xavi admits that he does not like the philosophy promoted by recently dismissed "Chelsea" coach Jose Mourinho from London.
Throughout his career, Portugal has triumphed in the championships of Portugal, England, Italy, and Spain, winning the UEFA Champions League with "Porto" and Milano "Inter."
However, even though Xavi respects the 52-year-old specialist's point of view, he would not rely on the same methods if he were in his place.
"He always wants to win at any cost, and this is evident in how he behaves in various situations," the 35-year-old player told Record.
"I respect this philosophy, but winning at any cost means that you cannot remain faithful to your style of play."
"For me, the end does not always justify the means."
"I feel great respect for him; he has great achievements, but I see football with different eyes than Mourinho."
