Xavi from Saugas claims to be certain that the current Spanish national team is the best in the country's history.
The European and world champion is preparing for the matches of the Old Continent's qualifying stage with Czechia and Lithuania, and Xavi will defend the honor of his country for the 100th time in his career in Friday's duel.
"I think this is the best Spanish team in history. We have managed to win global recognition," the footballer told "Marca."
"People believe in Spanish football, we are world and European champions, and we used to never win anything before."
He added: "I am happy to have reached my 100th game, but I feel that I can give much more. I want to stay in the national team for a long time."
