Y. Toure apologized to "Man City" club and coaching staff

"Manchester City" midfielder Yaya Toure, who has been forgotten in the ranks, released an official statement in the social media, apologizing to the entire "Citizens" club community.

The 33-year-old midfielder still belongs to the "Man City" team, but he only played one match this season in August. There were quotes from the African player's agent in the media, in which the head coach Pep Guardiola was insulted.

Despite the fact that Y. Toure did not say a word about P. Guardiola himself, the footballer announced an apology on his behalf.

"On behalf of myself and my representatives, I want to apologize to the entire club community and coaching staff," the midfielder wrote. "The statements in the press do not reflect my true opinion about the people working in this club."

"I respect Manchester City and wish the best for this club. I am proud to have played an important role in this club and hope to help the team in the future. I live for football and the fans.

"At the same time, I would like to thank all the people who send me messages during this difficult time," concluded the footballer from Ivory Coast.

In total, Y. Toure has played 267 matches for the "Man City" club, scored 75 goals, and became the English champion twice.
