Y. Toure: I want "City" to become a bigger club than "United"

"Returning to the main 'Manchester City' lineup, Yaya Toure wants his club to become bigger than the legendary 'Manchester United'.

The Ivory Coast legionnaire has triumphed twice with 'the Citizens' in the 'Premier' league, finishing above the 'Red Devils' team for three consecutive seasons.

Nevertheless, becoming a more important nucleus of England's football 'Man City' will require significantly more time, as his main rival has won a staggering 20 national championship titles throughout its history.

"I came to this club to make history," Toure said. "I want this club to change, I want this club to become bigger than 'United'. I know it will take a lot of work, but that is my dream."

"I am lucky to have represented great clubs - 'Barcelona', 'Olympiacos'. These teams are always used to being champions. However, 'City' is something different, something evolving, and I am happy now. Every year we compete for the title."

"Despite losing and things changing or going wrong, the owner has invested more money in the club and brought in better players to make it better. That's what I like - challenges. I love challenges."

"I want to achieve something very important. I have already won two 'Premier' league titles and I want more, I want a new history."

"Manchester City' currently occupies the third place in the 'Premier' league. However, the fight for the championship is far from over.

Toure also added that he currently feels like he is still twenty. 'The Citizens' have won all four matches that the veteran has started in the starting lineup so far."
