In recent years, Ivory Coast's Yaya Toure has been linked multiple times with a possible move to Italy but did not rule out the possibility of joining one of the Serie A teams next summer.
Last summer, the national team defender was linked with a move to Inter club, but ultimately decided to stay at Manchester City. However, Y. Toure's contract will expire next summer, and the player himself admitted that he has attracted attention from Italian teams and would consider moving to the country.
"In the past, I have been contacted by teams from Italy, but then I chose a different path and played for Barcelona and Manchester City. However, in life, you can never say never," Y. Toure told Gazzetta dello Sport, not wanting to rule out the possibility of moving to Italy next summer.
This season, the 34-year-old player has mostly been on the City bench and has only appeared twice in the Premier League, playing a total of just 29 minutes.
